Students from Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) in Indonesia have developed a unique coffee alternative made from mangrove fruit. The innovation stems from a community service program focused on environmental sustainability in Angsana village. This project aims to utilize the abundant mangrove resources found along the coastline. The students successfully processed the mangrove fruit into a beverage resembling coffee, offering a new economic opportunity for the local community. This initiative highlights the potential of coastal resources beyond traditional uses. The mangrove coffee promises sustainable development and empowers the community while promoting environmental awareness. It represents a novel approach to maximizing local resources in a creative and eco-friendly manner.
