A new analysis from the independent Centre for Educational Analysis indicates the Slovak Ministry of Education has improved the allocation of teaching assistants to schools. This improvement supports the growing trend of integrating students with disabilities into mainstream education. Despite the progress, a significant shortage of these assistants will persist. The focus is shifting towards individualized education that caters to each student’s specific needs. The analysis highlights a broader change within the Slovak education system, prioritizing inclusive practices. Further efforts are needed to fully address the demand for support staff and ensure equitable access to resources for all students. The Centre for Educational Analysis is a research organization dedicated to improving the quality of education through data and research.
