A new report by PKO Ubezpieczenia examines the impact of social media and artificial intelligence on the well-being of Polish citizens. The study reveals a correlation between adherence to digital hygiene practices and overall well-being levels. Interestingly, over 43% of 18-24 year olds report that AI provides them with comfort and support during difficult times. However, a significant portion of respondents – roughly one in three – express a desire to live without social media, rising to 44% among young adults. The report, titled "Between Scrolling and Seeking Balance," highlights how these technologies affect emotions, daily routines, relationships, and a sense of control. These findings suggest a complex relationship between technology and Polish citizens’ mental and emotional health.
