Renowned Chef Denis Lucchi, of Michelin-starred Buona Terra, is launching his third culinary venture, Assaggi, in Neil Road on August 10th. Unlike his flagship restaurant, Assaggi will offer a more relaxed and accessible dining experience. The new establishment will focus solely on tasting menus, showcasing Italian flavors without the formality of Buona Terra. Lucchi aims for a "fuss-free" atmosphere, differing from the busier environment of his second restaurant, Locanda. Assaggi promises a focused exploration of pasta and curated set menus. The restaurant will aim to deliver high-quality Italian food in a more casual setting, appealing to a wider audience. This new concept represents a broadening of Lucchi's culinary presence in Singapore.
