The Centre for Mathematics, Science and Technology Education in Africa (CEMASTEA) has conducted a three-day intensive training session on virtual laboratories. A total of 240 Junior School County Trainers from all 47 counties successfully completed the program. This initiative is designed to enhance the delivery of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) subjects in junior schools. The primary goal is to scale this expertise to reach 7,000 junior school teachers nationwide. By integrating virtual labs, the program aims to modernize teaching methods and improve student learning outcomes. This strategic rollout ensures that educators across all counties have access to digital scientific tools. The training marks a significant step toward digitizing STEM education in the region.
