二十年 ago, a ambitious plan surfaced in Jihlava, Vysočina region, Czech Republic, to construct a 3.5-kilometer motorsport circuit in the area formerly occupied by a military base—Jihlava-Pístov. A private investor announced the initiative, envisioning a track suitable for both automobiles and motorcycles. The project garnered significant attention within Jihlava itself, sparking enthusiasm among many residents. Notably, the proposed circuit already had a catchy name: Jihlava Ring. However, despite initial excitement, the plan quickly faded away—the proposed circuit ultimately did not come to fruition. Today, the idea sounds like science fiction, a testament to projects which never see completion.
