The transition from spring to summer marks the period of peak movement for wildlife in nature. Animals often travel hundreds of kilometers in search of food, new territories, or mating partners. In the Czech landscape, wolves cover the longest distances, which has contributed to their significant expansion in recent years. While ecoducts facilitate these movements, there are fewer than forty such crossings available in the country. Overall, the population of free-living wildlife in the Czech Republic is increasing. Current estimates suggest that up to three million animals may now inhabit the region.
