Venezuelan human rights organization Justicia, Encuentro y Perdón has reported the existence of 565 political prisoners currently detained in the country. The group detailed a concerning pattern of abuses, including 19 reported cases of enforced disappearance. Additionally, they highlighted inadequate medical care for 48 inmates suffering from serious illnesses. The report also flagged the vulnerable situation of 23 foreign nationals currently held in Venezuelan prisons. Justicia, Encuentro y Perdón advocates for the release of these prisoners and improved conditions within the Venezuelan penal system.
