Ulaanbaatar city is hosting an expanded trade event, “Golden Autumn 2026,” to supply residents with domestically grown potatoes and vegetables. The initiative aims to meet the needs of the upcoming winter and spring seasons, while building reserves and increasing food supply. Farmers and vegetable growers are directly selling a wide variety of fresh produce, including potatoes, vegetables, fruits, and berries, at 18 designated locations throughout the city. This centralized sales approach intends to ensure access to affordable, locally-sourced food for the capital’s population. The event supports local agriculture and strengthens food security within Ulaanbaatar. The Ulaanbaatar City Governor’s Office announced the commencement of the sales.
