Ukraine has ordered thousands of ground robots to bolster its defenses. However, the deployment is faced with significant operational challenges. Many units lack the necessary repairs and maintenance to remain functional. There is also a a shortage of standardized parts, making field repairs difficult. Furthermore, soldiers are unable to receive adequate training on how to operate these machines. Consequently, the effectiveness of these high-tech tools is being undermined. The situation highlights a gap between procurement and practical frontline application.
