Ukraine’s air defence systems successfully intercepted 95 out of 101 Russian drones launched overnight between June 23rd and 24th. The attack involved a diverse range of drone types, representing a significant aerial assault. Despite the high interception rate, six strikes were recorded across five different locations, causing some damage. Additionally, debris from the downed drones fell in six further locations, prompting assessments for potential secondary impacts. Ukrainian officials report no casualties at this time, but damage assessments are ongoing. This attack represents one of the largest drone swarms targeting Ukraine in recent weeks, highlighting Russia’s continued reliance on unmanned aerial vehicles in the conflict.
