Investigations reveal the only traceable connection leads back to Russia. The lack of transparency surrounding the procurement raises concerns about the origin and purpose of the surveillance technology. The Interior Ministry maintains it knows the cameras’ true manufacturer, but has not yet provided sufficient evidence. This discovery prompts questions about potential security risks and the rationale behind utilizing a complex, untraceable supply chain. Further investigation is needed to fully elucidate the cameras' origin and intended use.
