A design challenge arose when two teenage brothers, passionate about floorball, found their shared bedroom becoming insufficient as they grew. Designer Bára Baštová of Interiérová laboratoře tackled the issue by reimagining the space. The primary focus was maximizing storage and, crucially, providing each boy with more privacy while maintaining a shared room. The solution involved cleverly dividing the room with a bunk bed acting as a visual and functional partition. This allowed both brothers to continue living together comfortably without constant interruption or a feeling of being crowded. The redesign effectively addresses the changing needs of adolescent children within a smaller living area.
