Russian forces launched glide bomb attacks on the city of Zaporizhzhia, resulting in five deaths and ten injuries. Regional governor Ivan Fedorov reported that some victims were recovered from beneath the rubble of collapsed buildings. In a retaliatory move, Ukraine deployed drones to strike an oil refinery in Tyumen, located in western Siberia. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed the operation, which targeted infrastructure deep within Russian territory. The refinery is situated more than 2,000 kilometers away from the Ukrainian border. These events highlight the escalating reach and intensity of strikes on both sides of the conflict.
