Russia launched a large-scale overnight attack on Ukraine utilizing Zircon and Oniks anti-ship missiles, alongside Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles and a total of 188 drones. Ukrainian air defence systems reportedly intercepted and destroyed 160 of the incoming aerial threats. Despite these efforts, impacts were recorded at 18 locations across Ukraine, indicating some projectiles evaded interception. The attack represents a significant escalation in the ongoing conflict, combining various missile types and a substantial drone swarm. Details regarding the extent of damage and casualties at the 18 impacted locations are currently being assessed by Ukrainian authorities.
