Romania’s 75 children diagnosed with multiple sclerosis face a daily struggle with chronic fatigue, hospital visits, and the fear of being different. Often isolated by their condition and misunderstood by peers, these children find solace primarily within their families. A specialized camp is emerging as a vital resource, offering a space for connection and understanding amongst those sharing similar experiences. Participants express that the prospect of attending the camp provides motivation to persevere through ongoing challenges. The camp aims to combat the invisible battle these children fight, fostering a sense of belonging and reducing feelings of isolation. It provides a supportive environment where they can openly share their experiences and build confidence, ultimately improving their quality of life.
