The suspect, a Romanian citizen residing in Germany, was the subject of an arrest warrant issued by German authorities. Police located and apprehended him at a residence in Bistrița. Notably, the man was found relaxing in an inflatable pool on the apartment’s terrace during the arrest. The capture concludes a search for the individual linked to alleged narcotics offenses. He is now in Romanian custody awaiting extradition proceedings to Germany. The operation highlights international cooperation in combating transnational crime.
