The design of the Cam Lo - La Son expressway interchange is being revised to eliminate underpasses. This adjustment comes following concerns about the planned use of multiple underpasses – originally six – in the area. In addition to the redesign, the project’s investor will construct a new overpass near Hue City, costing approximately 100 billion Vietnamese Dong (roughly $4 million USD). This new bridge was proposed by the Hue City government to improve traffic flow. The changes aim to optimize the expressway's functionality and address local infrastructure needs. These modifications highlight a collaborative approach between the project developers and local authorities. The project aims to provide a smoother, more efficient transportation route for the region.
