They want to ensure that any restrictions are applied fairly and do not create unnecessary barriers to imports. Specifically, they are seeking clarity on how the ban will be enforced and what constitutes sufficient evidence of forced labor. Failure to establish these clear rules, they warn, could negatively impact Guatemalan commerce.
