A family in Braunschweig, Germany, discovered over 1,000 human bones and teeth while renovating their garden. The couple, Felix Chall and his wife, began finding remains after removing old paving stones two years after purchasing the home. Investigators have determined the bones belong to both children and adults, estimated to be between 50 and 100 years old. Despite the large number of remains, authorities have ruled out foul play, finding no evidence of violent crimes. The identity of the individuals remains unknown, with little hope of identification due to the absence of personal belongings. The Public Prosecutor’s Office is likely to close the investigation soon, suggesting the land was previously used for agriculture.
