Three new Finnish versions have been released, prompting significant interest among readers. *Helsingin Sanomat* newspaper has begun profiling these translations, comparing their approaches to the classic text. According to the report, Pentti Manninen’s translation maintains the original rhythm of the poem, while Otava’s translation by Mikael Saarikoski is considered the most fluent. Additionally, Castrén’s translation is highlighted as a direct comparison point for those familiar with the popular film and book adaptations of the *Odyssey*.
