Her personal assistant’s shift ends at 10 PM, necessitating the use of a safety bracelet to call for help when needed during the night. The fee is triggered by activating the safety device to request assistance with a basic necessity. This change has raised concerns about access to essential care and the financial burden placed on individuals with disabilities.
