A new exclusive survey by NMS for Novinky indicates that while most Czechs complain about heatwaves, nearly two-thirds manage to cope with them relatively well. The research reveals that women experience more difficulty with the summer heat than men. According to the findings, Czechs generally consider 35 degrees Celsius to be the threshold beyond which the heat becomes unbearable. The survey offers insight into the public’s perception and tolerance levels regarding rising temperatures. Despite complaints, a significant portion of the population appears resilient to the warmer weather. These results may inform public health strategies related to heatwave preparedness.
