A new survey conducted by Ipsos for Hedepy reveals that nearly 80% of the population in Česko experienced mental health challenges in the past year, disproportionately affecting women and young people. Despite a general willingness to seek therapy, Czech individuals face significant obstacles, including financial constraints and lengthy wait times. Many respondents also expressed uncertainty about how to locate a suitable therapist. The research encompassed Česko, Slovensko, Poľsko, Maďarsko, Lietuva, and Rumunsko, highlighting regional trends in mental wellbeing. The findings suggest a substantial unmet need for mental healthcare services within Česko. Access remains a critical issue for those acknowledging their struggles. These barriers prevent individuals from receiving timely and appropriate support.
