The Czech Foreign Ministry has partially conceded to President Pavel’s requests regarding his delegation for the upcoming NATO summit. Initially limited to three security personnel and one office worker, Pavel will now be accompanied by three staff members from the Presidential Office and one security guard. This adjustment follows a disagreement between the President’s office and the Foreign Ministry over the composition of the accompanying team. However, a separate dispute persists regarding whether President Pavel will travel to the summit with the government delegation. The Ministry had initially preferred Pavel travel separately, a point of contention not yet resolved. This compromise represents a partial victory for the Presidential Office in navigating protocol for the international event. Further negotiations are expected to determine travel arrangements.
