Border guard forces have successfully dismantled a cross-provincial illegal explosives trafficking operation. The operation resulted in the opening of two criminal investigations and the arrest of three individuals. Authorities confiscated over 200 kilograms of explosives and more than 10,500 detonators. The investigation targeted the illegal buying, selling, and transportation of explosive materials across multiple provinces. This bust represents a significant effort to curb the illicit trade of dangerous materials. The seized explosives pose a substantial public safety risk had they not been intercepted. Further investigations are underway to determine the full extent of the network and its intended use of the materials.
