Academic assessments in Cimahi City, West Java, reveal a significant performance gap between students’ mathematics and Indonesian language skills. Results from the Academic Ability Test (TKA) show an average math score of just 42.25 percent among elementary and junior high school students. In contrast, the average score for Indonesian language was considerably higher, reaching 69.23 percent. The tests included scores ranging from a perfect 100 to 50, indicating a wide range of student abilities. Authorities have not yet released detailed analysis regarding the reasons for the lower math scores.
