A group of young people who rented a villa in central Bucharest for New Year's Eve celebrations have received their legal penalties. The group was found guilty of destruction after causing extensive damage to the property's walls and furniture. In a particularly violent act, the defendants threw televisions from the upper floors of the building. A court has sentenced the individuals to between six and eight months of suspended imprisonment. The total financial damages are estimated to be between 20,000 and 30,000 units of currency. The ruling follows a trial focused on the deliberate devastation of the rented accommodation. This case highlights the legal consequences of extreme vandalism during holiday festivities.
