The Brno circuit experienced exceptionally high temperatures on Saturday, reaching 36°C with track temperatures nearing 60°C. These extreme conditions prompted nearly all MotoGP teams and riders to opt for softer rear tires compared to Friday’s practice. The change aimed to improve grip on the overheated asphalt and manage the demands of the sprint race. Friday’s experience informed this widespread decision, as teams sought to mitigate the challenges posed by the intense heat. Francesco Bagnaia celebrated a win, while Jakub Salač will start the Moto2 race from the front row. The high temperatures significantly impacted race strategy and tire selection for all competitors.
