A car parked at an auto business in Haarlem, Netherlands, became unexpectedly occupied by an estimated 5,000 bees on Thursday. The vehicle had been left with a window open, attracting the swarm which then established a nest inside. Local authorities contacted a beekeeper to safely remove the bees and relocate them. The operation ensured the well-being of both the public and the bee colony. The bees will now be housed in a beehive, allowing them to continue their vital pollination work. The car owner described the incident as “bizarre.” No injuries were reported.
