Indonesian police have dismantled an illegal cannabis vape production operation hidden within a villa in Bali. The operation involved the manufacture of liquid vape containing liquid cannabis. Authorities estimate the three foreign nationals (WNAs) involved profited approximately Rp360 billion (roughly $23.7 million USD) from the illicit enterprise. The discovery was made by the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police Resort (Polresta). Further details regarding the suspects’ nationalities and the scope of distribution are currently under investigation. This bust highlights the growing concern over the production and sale of illegal narcotics-infused vaping products. Authorities continue to crack down on similar operations throughout Indonesia.
