Archaeologists have discovered a large, 4,900 square meter Roman thermal complex dating back 2,000 years. The site includes evidence of luxurious villas and a tower structure, indicating a high-status settlement. The complex featured a public bathhouse with varying temperature pools – hot, warm, and cold. Numerous artifacts were also found during the excavation, including jewelry and coins, offering insights into the daily life of the inhabitants. This discovery provides valuable information about Roman leisure and architectural practices in the region. Further research is planned to fully explore and understand the significance of this ancient site. The find promises to enhance understanding of Roman civilization in the area.
