Firefighters in Zlín, Czech Republic, have completed extinguishing a large fire that consumed Building 34 after a 13-day effort, concluding operations on Wednesday afternoon. The fire began on July 9th in the former Baťa shoe factory complex, affecting the city's tallest building. During the first day, approximately two-thirds of the eleven-story structure, measuring 78 by 72 meters, collapsed. The extensive blaze required sustained effort from emergency services to bring under control. The cause of the fire remains under investigation by both the fire department and the police. Authorities continue to assess the stability of the remaining structure and determine the source of the incident.
