Police on the Greek island of Zante have dismantled a criminal organization involved in drug and weapons trafficking. Two individuals have been arrested in connection with the operation. Authorities discovered a cache of weapons hidden in rented rooms, including nine pistols, 22 magazines, and 2,372 rounds of various caliber ammunition. Additionally, handcuffs, knives, and an axe were seized during the raid. The investigation suggests the group was actively involved in both narcotics distribution and illegal arms dealing. Authorities are continuing to investigate potential further connections and the scope of the organization’s activities. The seized items have been submitted for forensic analysis as the investigation progresses.
