Students at a high school yeshiva in Rehovot recently completed an intensive week of study culminating in a rigorous oral examination. The final assessment required students to recite, from memory, material spanning 1,296 pages of the Talmud. The intensive study period was implemented during the last week of the school year. This demanding test showcased the students’ dedication to in-depth textual learning and their ability to retain complex information. The examination served as a capstone to their year-long studies of the Talmudic text. School officials organized the week to maximize learning before the summer break.
