Yendi Senior High School has unexpectedly qualified for the 2026 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) National Championship. The school seized a second chance during the Northern Regional qualifiers to earn their spot. Yendi SHS demonstrated impressive knowledge, scoring 50 points to outperform Northern School of Business (NOBISCO) and Dagbon State Senior High Technical School. This victory marks a significant achievement for Yendi SHS and ends NOBISCO’s aspirations for national competition this year. The NSMQ is a highly prestigious academic contest in Ghana, testing students' proficiency in science and mathematics. Yendi SHS will now prepare to compete on the national stage against other top schools.
