Indonesian automotive manufacturer Wuling Motors and ride-hailing giant Grab have strengthened their partnership with the delivery of Wuling’s New BinguoEV Lite vehicles to GrabRentals. The expansion focuses on bolstering Grab’s electric vehicle fleet available for rental services. The handover ceremony took place in Jakarta, signaling a commitment to sustainable transportation options within the country. This collaboration aims to increase the accessibility of electric vehicles for both drivers and consumers. Wuling and Grab initially partnered in 2022 to promote the adoption of electric vehicles. The addition of the BinguoEV Lite is expected to further support Grab’s sustainability goals and contribute to reducing emissions in urban areas. This move reflects a growing trend towards electrification in Indonesia’s transportation sector.
