Belgian cycling star Wout van Aert has returned to the bike following a medical emergency. The athlete was forced to withdraw from the Tour de France due to a severe infection in his elbow. This condition necessitated an urgent surgical procedure to resolve the inflammation. Just over a week after the operation, Van Aert completed a training ride in his home region. He described the outing as his first attempt to grip his handlebars again. While the return marks a positive step in his recovery, his participation in the Tour de France remains ruled out. The cyclist is now focusing on regaining his form and strength.
