Vihiga County has completed a four-day training workshop aimed at enhancing the quality of healthcare services. The program, a collaboration between the county government, MOMENTUM Country and Global Leadership (MCGL), and the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI), focused on mentorship and quality improvement techniques for healthcare workers. Training took place at the Vihiga Teaching and Referral Hospital (VTRH). Participants learned strategies to improve patient care within health facilities. The initiative seeks to strengthen the overall healthcare system in Vihiga County. This training represents a commitment to ongoing professional development for medical staff and better patient outcomes.
