Vietnamese coffee conglomerate Trung Nguyên Legend commenced construction on a network of modern coffee processing plants on June 25th. The project represents a significant investment of nearly 2.2 trillion Vietnamese Dong (approximately $90 million USD). This expansion aims to bolster Vietnam’s capacity for in-depth coffee processing, moving beyond raw bean exports. The new facilities are intended to enhance the value chain of Vietnamese coffee production. Trung Nguyên Legend anticipates the plants will contribute to increased quality and competitiveness in both domestic and international markets. The initiative signals a commitment to strengthening Vietnam’s position as a global coffee producer. Construction and groundbreaking ceremonies were held to mark the start of the project.
