Vietnam’s national broadcaster, Vietnam Television (VTV), has announced the “AI thực chiến” (AI in Action) 2026 competition, focused on fostering artificial intelligence talent. The competition is being organized in collaboration with the National Data Center (NDC) and the National Data Association (NDA). The event, themed “Building AI Talent,” was launched in Hanoi on June 19th. The grand prize winner will receive a substantial award of 1 billion Vietnamese Dong, equivalent to approximately $50,000 USD. The competition aims to identify and cultivate skilled professionals in the rapidly growing field of artificial intelligence within Vietnam. This initiative underscores Vietnam’s increasing investment in and focus on developing its AI capabilities.
