Luis Albornoz, a Venezuelan artist, has achieved international recognition for his design work with major brands and musicians. Initially struggling with academics and early job prospects, Albornoz co-founded the studio Chocotoy with his wife, Karen Guevara. The studio’s clientele now includes global stars like Rihanna, J Balvin, Bad Bunny, and major corporations such as Apple Music and Toyota. Albornoz’s journey began in Guarenas, Venezuela, where creative opportunities were limited. Despite early setbacks, including a casual attitude towards work demonstrated in his first job application, he persevered and built a successful career. He has recently returned to Venezuela, aiming to contribute to the country’s creative landscape and acknowledge his roots.
