A recent earthquake in Venezuela has caused the collapse of four buildings in the municipality of Chacao, according to Mayor Gustavo Duque. Rescue operations are currently focused in the areas of Los Palos Grandes, Altamira, and Bello Campo, where the most significant damage has been reported. As of reports, 18 people have been rescued alive from the rubble. More than 500 personnel are actively involved in search and rescue efforts. The extent of further casualties and damage is still being assessed. Authorities are continuing to monitor the situation and coordinate relief operations in the affected areas.
