Unknown partygoers caused significant damage to the protected ruins of Máré Castle. The perpetrators attempted to build a campfire by dismantling stones directly from the historic castle walls. In addition to the structural damage, the site was left littered with beer bottles and other waste. Authorities estimate the financial loss to be in the millions of forints.
