The Museo Atlántico de Arte Contemporáneo (MACA) in Uruguay is currently exhibiting two national productions. One is a narrative piece recounted by schoolchildren following a field trip to Manantiales, offering a youthful perspective. The second is a documentary providing a retrospective look at the four-decade career of renowned sculptor Pablo Atchugarry. This documentary delves into Atchugarry’s artistic creation process and includes personal reflections on his life and work. Both exhibits are being offered to the public free of charge. The MACA aims to promote Uruguayan art and culture through diverse presentations. This dual exhibition highlights both emerging and established artistic voices within the country.
