The University Hospital of Valle Evaristo García (HUV) in Venezuela has formalized an agreement with the Shaio Clinic Foundation to implement a remote cardiovascular monitoring model for patients in their homes. This collaboration aims to improve patient care and outcomes by extending medical observation beyond the hospital walls. The initiative will leverage technology to remotely track patients' cardiovascular health, allowing for timely interventions and adjustments to treatment plans. This model seeks to enhance accessibility to specialized cardiac care, particularly for individuals with limited mobility or those residing in areas far from healthcare facilities. Hospital officials express optimism that this partnership will set a precedent for innovative, patient-centered healthcare delivery throughout Venezuela. The HUV anticipates improved management of chronic cardiovascular conditions and a reduction in hospital readmissions as a result of this program.
