A new program initiated by Tinderet Constituency MP Julius Melly will provide uniforms to village elders in the Chemelil/Chemase Ward. The initiative, financed by the National Government-Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF), hopes to bolster grassroots administration and enhance the quality of service delivery within the constituency. The uniforms are intended to create a more distinct identity for the village elders. This increased visibility will reinforce their role as government representatives at the local level. Supporters believe the program will improve the elders’ authority and encourage greater community trust and participation. Ultimately, the project aims to strengthen governance structures from the ground up in Tinderet Constituency.
