Bangladesh’s Education Minister, Dr. A. N. M. Ehsanul Haq Milan, announced a significant change to the national education system. Starting next year, examinations for mandatory and general subjects in madrasa and technical education boards will be held on the same day as those for general education boards. This shift aims to eliminate disparities within the country’s educational framework by utilizing a unified question paper for all boards. The move intends to ensure fairness and equal opportunity for all students, regardless of their educational institution. The announcement was made at an event held at the Azimpur Girls School & College auditorium in Dhaka. The Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) reported the minister’s statement, signaling a major step towards educational reform. This standardized testing approach is expected to streamline the evaluation process and promote a more cohesive education system nationwide.
