Bangladesh’s Education Minister Anamul Haque Milan announced plans to hire 50,000 teachers over the next three months. This recruitment drive coincides with significant changes to the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination system. For the first time, all nine general education boards will use a common question paper for the HSC exams. This standardization extends to 11 boards overall, including Madrasa and technical education boards, for subjects with identical syllabi and content. The move aims to ensure fairness and consistency in evaluation across the country. The announcement was made during the 20th founding anniversary celebration of Noakhali Science and Technology University.
