L.Khosbayar, coordinator of the Ulaanbaatar city road project, has been questioned by the Independent Authority Against Corruption (IAAC) as part of an investigation. The questioning relates to his previous role as a coordinator linked to the budget and finance of Ulaanbaatar city. A task force was established by the government to review the 2025-2026 budgets and the implementation of the 24 mega-projects. As a former employee involved in these areas, Khosbayar was called to provide information. He states he fully cooperated with the IAAC and, to date, has not been designated a suspect regarding the criminal code's article 22.1. Khosbayar, who previously served as coordinator for the Ulaanbaatar City Finance, Economics, and Construction Intensification Project, emphasized his commitment to operating within the law throughout his over 20 years of public service and oversaw financing for the 24 mega-projects.
